Health Guarantee
German Shepherd Health Guarantee
This health guarantee covers German Shepherd puppies and ensures that they are free of infectious diseases, such as Distemper and Rabies, for a period of 3 days. The buyer must have the puppy checked by their own veterinarian within 48 hours of purchase, at their own expense, to maintain the guarantee. The guarantee does not cover hernias, undescended testicles, reproduction, size, color, or temperament. If the puppy is sold or transferred to another owner, the guarantee is void, and no purchase price will be returned.
In the event of a serious life-threatening genetic defect, the breeder may replace the puppy within 1 year. The replacement time and selection are at the discretion of the breeder but should not be unreasonable. If a replacement is necessary, the original puppy must be brought to the breeder along with medical records for evaluation. The buyer is responsible for any difference in quality between the original and replacement puppy.
If the puppy’s health is in question, the buyer agrees to have the puppy checked by the seller’s chosen veterinarian at their own expense. Both the buyer and the seller agree to abide by the veterinarian’s diagnosis. In any replacement circumstance, registration papers are to be signed over to the breeder, and the animal returned before the replacement is provided.
The seller is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the buyer. Any issues related to loose stools or Coccidian are the buyer’s responsibility, and the breeder cannot be held accountable. It is recommended that a stool sample be analyzed within 48 hours of the puppy arriving at its new home to ensure it has no internal intestinal parasites.
The breeder has administered a basic deworming product recommended by their veterinarian but cannot be held accountable for any problems that arise after the puppy is delivered. The guarantee does not cover internal or external parasites.
